Saturday 3rd March 2012 (God willing)
at 10:30 a.m.

"History of Particular Baptists in the North West"

The day will begin at 10.30am with refreshments. At 11.00am there will be an illustrated talk on the history of Jireh Baptist Church followed by a workshop on how to research your own chapel history. After lunch the speaker will be Stephen Rees. He will be speaking on Obadiah Holmes, who was born in Reddish near Manchester in 1607, then later emigrated to America where he became a pioneer Baptist who suffered for his faith.

There will be a display on the history of Jireh Baptist Church and bookstalls.

Drinks will be provided, but please bring your own picnic lunch.
